Add an SMS gateway

You can configure Smile with a single SMS gateway instance. The following substitutions can be used in any of the SMS gateway fields:
  • %destination%—will be substituted for the phone number to send the SMS to.
  • %message%—will be substituted for the message to be sent.

This task explains how to add an SMS gateway.

  1. Select SMS Gateway under Email, SMS, Print & Web on the Configuration and Tools page.
    The SMS Gateway Configuration page is displayed.
  2. Type a name for the gateway in the Name field.
  3. Type an entry in the From format field.
  4. Type an entry in the To format field.
  5. Type an entry in the Subject format field.
  6. Type your message in the Body format field.
  7. Click Save.
    The Configuration and Tools page is displayed.
