Welcome email properties
The properties of a welcome email specify the service and plan the message applies to, the format of the email, the recipients address and when the email is sent.
- Service
- Specifies the service the welcome email applies to.
- Plan
- Specifies the service's plan that the welcome email applies to. You can select a specific plan or all plans on the service.
- Send this email even there are matching plan emails?
- When selected specifies that the welcome email is sent even if there is a welcome email
specifically for one of the service's plan.
This option is only applicable when All plans is selected for Plan.
- Specifies the email template that contains the welcome email message. For more information, see Email templates.
- Destination
- Specifies what information Smile will use for the recipient of the welcome message.
- A specific address
- The service's username
- The account's email address
- The service's email address (and fall back to the account's)
- Enabled
- When selected specifies that the welcome email is active.
- Send this email
- Specifies when the welcome email is sent.
- Upon activation
- When the service is ordered
- When the service is provisioned
- When the service is ordered via CAT
