Make a payment from search

You can pay an account or an invoice quickly from search.

This task explains how to make a payment from search.

  1. Search for an account name or the number of the invoice to pay.
    A list of results that match your search term appears.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Select the account or invoice entry and then click the Payment icon icon.
    • Right-mouse click on the required account or invoice entry and click Payment.
    A draft transaction New Payment page is displayed.
  3. Complete any required payment details, then click Pay.
    The payment is applied and a receipt entry added to the Transactions page list.
