Delete a subscription

Deleting a subscription permanently removes the subscription from the Smile database. You cannot delete a subscription that has charges raised against it, even if those charges have been paid.

To avoid data loss, we recommend that you delete only new subscriptions that were created in error. To remove existing subscriptions that are no longer needed, close the subscription.

This task explains how to delete a subscription.

  1. Search for the subscription that you want to delete, then double-click the subscription entry in the search results.
    The subscription's summary page is displayed.
  2. Click Delete Service.
    The Confirm Delete window appears and lists any charges raised against the subscription.
  3. View and Reverse any charges raised against the subscription.
  4. Click Delete then click Continue.
    Smile deletes the subscription.
