Unbar a subscription

Unbarring a subscription restores a customer's access to a barred subscription. If configured to do so, Smile may unbar a subscription when an overdue account is settled.

Tip: You can also specify the unbar date when you bar the subscription.

This task explains how to unbar a subscription.

  1. Search for the subscription that you want to unbar, then double-click the subscription entry in the search results.
    The subscription's summary page is displayed.
  2. Click Unbar service.
    The Unbar service window is displayed.
  3. Select the bar end time in the Unbar user drop-down, and if necessary enter the end date in the Bar end date field.
  4. (Optional) Type the reason why you unbarred the subscription in the Comments field.
  5. Click Unbar Service.
    Smile unbars the subscription.
