Configure SOAP access

A CAT username and password with API access is required. Your application uses these credentials to log in to the API.

This task explains how to configure an account with a CAT access subscription providing API permissions.

  1. Create a new account with a CAT Access service subscription or add a CAT Access subscription to an existing account.
  2. View the CAT Access service information.
    The Service information is displayed.
  3. On the Account sidebar, click the Access sub-menu for the CAT subscription.
    The subscription's Access information is displayed.
  4. Select the Allow SOAP API access checkbox.
    This permission is required to allow this SOAP user to be able to call methods that refer to their own subscription.
    Additional SOAP access options are displayed.
  5. Select the Allow SOAP access to all accounts checkbox.
    This permission is required to allow this SOAP user to be able to retrieve privileged information or carry out privileged operations relating to other accounts and subscriptions.
  6. Click Save.
    The SOAP access permissions are saved.
