Add prepaid

Adding prepaid lets customers buy and redeem prepaid from a Smile operator. A customer can use the prepaid as soon as the operator adds the prepaid to their subscription, if permitted by the prepaid configuration.

This task explains how to add prepaid to a subscription.

  1. Search for the subscription to which you want to add prepaid, then double-click
 the subscription entry in the search results.
    The subscription's summary page is displayed.
  2. On the Account Menu Tree, click the Disclosure triangle to the left of the subscription entry to expand the subscription options, then click Prepaid.
    The Prepaid page is displayed.
  3. Click Add...
    The Select a prepaid usage block window is displayed.
  4. Click Select next to the prepaid block to add.
    The Add prepaid usage window is displayed.
  5. Ensure that the usage block, start date and end date are correct, then click Add.
    Smile generates an invoice for the prepaid block.
  6. (Optional) Click Add item to add another item to the invoice, for example, a modem or handset.
  7. Click Save.
    The Close Invoice window is displayed.
  8. Do one of the following:
    • Click Issue the Invoice to close and issue the invoice. If automatic payments are configured for the account, Smile also schedules an automatic payment.
    • Click Leave Open to save the open invoice. Open invoices do not affect the account balance.
    • Click Raise Later to defer the invoice items. Smile adds these items to the next bulk invoice for the subscription.
    • Click Pay Immediately to close the invoice and enter a manual payment against the invoice.
    • Click Assign next to an open invoice to add the invoice items to the open invoice.
    Smile takes the appropriate action.
