Appointments

Appointments are based on standard helpdesk ticket types with additional functions to configure scheduling and assignment of appointments. Appointments handle the allocation of bookings taking into account appointment duration, travel time and operator availability.

In addition to setting appointments, appointment type tickets can also include other workflow functions and ticket actions in the same manner as helpdesk tickets.

Note: Once an appointment has been made you cannot change the appointment time or assignment. To change an appointment you must close the appointment ticket and create a new appointment.

Appointment tickets are viewed through their own filter. Click Appointments on the Helpdesk menu.

Smile displays the Appointment icon icon next to an appointment ticket.
