Change a plan
Changing a plan adds a new plan schedule item to the subscription's plan schedule. The item specifies the name of the new plan and when the plan change occurs. You can change the plan a subscription uses now, in the future or in the past.
If the plan start date is in the past, Smile uses the new plan tariffs to re-rate any usage in open periods that occurred after the plan start date.
Tip: You cannot change a subscription's plan if a subscription is under
contract. However, you can cancel the existing contract, change the plan then add a
new contract to the subscription.
